The Lands of Aquileia by Bike project derives from the Territorial Development Programme for introducing integrated routes and itineraries that develop and promote the territory, which the municipalities belonging to the Associazione Intercomunale Cervignanese (Aquileia, Campolongo Tapogliano, Cervignano del Friuli, Fiumicello, Ruda, Terzo di Aquileia and Villa Vicentina) have undertaken as per Regional Law 1/2006 with financial support from the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Udine Province.



This programme is aimed at the development of historic sites and production of local specialities, providing for networks between existing accomodation facilities and involves a selection of businesses from agro-tourism, B&B, room rentals, agriculturalists, wine cellars, camping sites, and small hotels, associated and arranged in a Product Club for tourist in the territory.


The businesses of the tourist Product Club of the territory of Aquileia By Bike offer the tourist – as well as a series of subsidised and discounted services – the possibility of free use of special bicycles issued with GPS satellite navigators to safely follow some itineraries purposely designed for bicycling tourists.
