Borgo Fornasar, a Romanesque-style facility built entirely in face bricks, situated in Cervignano del Friuli along river Ausa. A clock tower stands in the centre of the houses, next to the church "Mater Dei" symbol and centrepiece of the Fornasar farmstead, which was founded and has been run by the family over the centuries. Large housing blocks unravel around it, now partly converted in tourist accommodations, and production facilities (the cellar, the only space below the sea level, restaurant rooms, meeting and ceremony rooms, exhibitions of old tools). At present, the farmhouse welcomes visitors for a simple tour of its facilities, for a wine tasting in its cellar, for lunch, as well as for week-ends or for a longer stay. The farmhouse also provides products such as wine and its derivatives, asparagus, cherries, apricots.
